The Center’s theme for 2016, Exploring Moral Conflict and Hate Speech in the Global Public Sphere, acknowledges a pivotal turning point in foreign affairs where faith-based practitioners and state actors are urged to collaborate to build interdisciplinary approaches to promote peace. This year, faculty, fellows, and students will explore some of the most pressing global challenges through digital and on-ground initiatives that include brown-bags, public gatherings, the publication of issues papers and monographs, and digital research seminars. The Center also seeks to advance scholarship in peace and conflict studies by making available an online occasional paper series.
